The age old practice of Yoga serves as the great boost for the physical, mental and spiritual well being. To promote Yoga and spread awareness, International Yoga Day is being celebrated every year since 2015. The theme for the 7th International Yoga Day was "Yoga for Wellness". Arwachin International School celebrated Yoga Day on June 21, 2021. Mr. Sunil Tomar, the physical educator of the school, conducted a Zoom meeting for classes I to V. Yogasanas like Tadasana, Halasana, Vrikshasana, Setubandh-Asana, etc., were taught and benefits of each Asana were told. Children interacted well with the teacher, and also learned that Yoga is an invaluable gift and promised to incorporate it into their lifestyle. It is not just about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature. 

Fathers are the silent guardians who often don't know how to express their emotions, but that doesn't mean that they don't love us. Therefore, it's important that he gets rewarded for the selfless love and tireless efforts he does for the love he has for his children. Arwachin International School celebrated Father’s Day for the very first time on a virtual platform on 19th June, 2021. The children were excited to have their fathers with them for the session. It was lovely to see the father-child duo sitting together. A Zoom meeting was conducted, where the students of Classes-I-V executed their  performances to pay a gratitude to their Superhero Fathers.

Atharv Aggarwal of Class-III-A presented a flameless dish for his father, whereas other children performed dance and song. A few of them recited poem on Fathers. It was a memorable event which the fathers and children will cherish for their lifetime.
